Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club

Royal Palm

Originally redesigned in 2003 by Jack Nicklaus, Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club underwent a comprehensive renovation and modernization program led by Jim Wagner under the guidance of Jack Nicklaus in 2023. The project focused on enhancing playability, improving maintenance efficiency and course conditions, modernizing infrastructure, and refining strategic elements while remaining faithful to the design principles and shot values established by Jack Nicklaus.

Improvements included reconstructed and repositioned greens and bunkers, expanded teeing grounds, and targeted strategic refinements designed to enhance playability and elevate the overall member experience. In addition, the scope of work included a comprehensive refinement of the landscape palette to reduce visual clutter, improve turf health, and transition the course to a more cohesive and sustainable landscape character. The result is a refreshed golfing experience that honors its architectural heritage while ensuring its continued success for generations to come.
